又係咁錐住佢

I was wondering if the word 錐 has any colloquial implications? I heard someone today describe their colleague to me, saying the following:

佢又係咁錐住佢

it could be the wrong character, but the sound is right, I thought it sounded like 'pick on' or 'criticise' in the context it was said..
