Hi all,
My name is Wai-Gong Joseph Lee (or Lee Wai-Gong). I am half Cantonese, half English. I don't speak any Chinese (Cantonese or otherwise) so am looking for a little help. My Chinese father died a couple of years back and as I fell out with him as a child I'm not in contact with any native speakers.
I am expecting my first son. He will be having a Western first name and I would like the idea of a single syllable Chinese name to link him to his heritage. His surname will be double barrelled so I don't really want a hyphenated middle and last name for him.
The wife and I have been doing a bit of online research and like the idea of Feng/Fung/Foong meaning 'Summit'. I just want to check that this is in Cantonese and preferred Anglicisation and pronunciation.
Thanks in advance...
