yes, isenriver, written questions/answers would be more formal in which case the Mando-fied styles of saying “HOW OFTEN,” much like pkchan’s 多久；多常；多久一次, would work, but i talk to ppl over the ph (NOT a telemarketer btw, these are mandatory surveys for the companies these ppl work at), so it sounds a bit too formal to use, although they know it’s coming from a survey so they probably understand it may sound a bit awkward.
Mr. K’s query and answer is a more precise query and answer, almost to the point of “At what intervals/point in time of your work shift do you take your breaks?” which is perhaps the result, again, of my bad question.
isenriver’s english equivalents are what i had in mind as well: there are some ppl who ALWAYS take their breaks (as scheduled, or not) whereas some ppl rather work thru their breaks and maybe leave work earlier (or not).

Some ppl will say i’m ALWAYS annoyed with ads; others may say SOMETIMES, because lots of ppl love SUPERBOWL ads; some will NEVER be annoyed because they use that time to get snacks, as true couch potatoes will do, or do other things. So with this newer question in mind, does this change the answers as to how to say HOW OFTEN in Cantonese?
