I think "I will what I want" is a great phrase. It's creative and plays with language. It sounds like the common phrase "I will do what I want", but by omitting the "do" it turns the auxilary verb "will" into the active verb "will", playing on a double meaning.
A phrase like this is going to be untranslateable. You couldn't catch the subtleties in it. The best you could hope for would be a literal translation of it or a phrase similar in feel but different in meaning.
You could go with something like "想得就得", playing on the double meaning (in Cantonese) of 得. Still, the feeling of "I don't care what others think" isn't really in there.
commerical slogans often play with words and create phrases that people not normally use in day to day speech, I compare this phrase with " Impossible Is Nothing", because it too is not a common sentence, it just stuck in my mind. That's what adverting about.
I agree if you are not willing to give up the words play, it may be untranslateable, the best we can do is capture the essence of the phrase and create an equally creative one in Chinese. if we translate "raining cats and dogs" litarly, there's no fun, might as well just use the simalar phrase in Cantonese「落狗屎噉落」 .
