Hi
I'm having trouble describing the use of the word 落. I know it generally means 'to continue' after a verb, but does it also have an additional meaning of 'always' or 'usually' or even 'as a habit'? That's my feeling but not sure
Thank you

迎  = meet; greet; welcome; receive. It  is a common verb character
春 Spring (season) is also a common noun character

迎春 shortened from 迎接(welcome) 春天( Spring season) which is a basic [verb+ noun] structure.
To simply say " welcome Spring" you usually use the full phrase 迎接春天
The shortened 迎春 can be use as an attributive phrase
For example:
迎春晚會 (Spring welcoming night gathering)
迎春大匯演 (Spring welcoming gala)
迎春閣 ( Hall of Welcome Spring)

** 迎春 mostly be seen in a new year blessing "迎春接福" ( welcome Spring and receive good fortune)
