You are my hero Kobo... no apologies for the rant! Do you have any thoughts as to how the title would have appeared in Hong Kong in 1973? I've been told that poster above is from Hong Kong, but I was recently made aware of a poster found in Taiwan where they used the modern title. That complicates things as a lot of HK movies were distributed in Taiwan using HK printed posters. I'm now trying to determine which country would have been more likely to use the old tiger character for their premiere poster in 1973 -- Hong Kong or Taiwan?
I agree it's odd that they would have used such an old variant of the character for such a huge movie. I'm pretty sure it was the biggest movie ever in HK at the time of it's release. Bruce Lee died an unexpected death only 6 days prior to it's release!
Thanks again!
