I think it may be easier to explain to Hong Kongers if you describe Ｃ朗 as "legend" (傳奇人物), "superstar" (超級鉅星), or "industry leader" (業界領軍人物), whereas 蘇牙 as just another "top player" (well, with some "issues" of his own...). I think 勁人 may be too ambiguous. Take the NBA for example. The league produces MVPs every season and post-season. These MVPs are undoubtedly top players or 勁人. Yet they are not necessarily on the same caliber as Michael Jordan or Wilt Chamberlain.
