How would a construct such as "As I will it, so must it be" sound to you? It doesn't conform to any of the three forms you mentioned. However, if you agree that it is a legitimate sentence (with "correct collocation" or not), then I don't see how the "I will {it}" construct is much different from the "I will {what I want}" construct syntactically. It seems reasonable to assume that, if one is legit, then so are both.
