The closest match to a Chinese idiom that I can think of is 克己服人 (overcome yourself, win over others). I guess one can make up a spin-off on it, like, 以德克己者王,以力服人者霸 (using virtue to discipline oneself...

Sorry, I’ve overlooked one tone. ‘nei4 dou6’ (here) should be ‘nei1 dou6’, tone 1 for ‘nei’. The other parts are all correct.

ni1 is probably the standard reading, but some prefer the variants ne1 and nei1, and most people would use lazy sounds li1, le1 or lei1.
